Games like Spyfall
In Spyfall everyone knows the location except the spy, who has to blend in. Impasta turns that around: the impasta gets a food too, just a slightly different one, and doesn't know they're the odd one out. Everyone types a clue, then votes.

How Impasta compares
Spyfall is a card game you play around a table. Impasta puts the game on a TV and everyone's secret on their own phone, so nobody has to pass cards or keep a straight face while reading one.
Because the impasta has a real food, their clue can sound right by accident. Most rounds end in an argument about whether vague means guilty or just careful.
Other imposter games
Who's Lying? on hangtime.games is the classic version, where everyone knows the secret word except the Liar. For a free one that runs on a single phone you pass around, try its imposter word game. How to set it up
- Open the game on a laptop, smart TV browser or a tablet everyone can see. A laptop plugged into the TV works best.
- The screen shows a four-letter room code and a QR code.
- Everyone opens eatnow.lol/play on their phone and types the code with their name.
- The first person to open the room is the host and taps Start.
