Games to play on Zoom
Share your screen with the game on it, and everyone on the call joins from their phone. Nobody needs to install anything or sign up, and it works the same on Zoom, Google Meet, FaceTime and Teams.
- Bluff Buffet2-12 · TV
All the writing and voting happens on phones, so it plays the same on a call as in a room.
- Impasta3-10 · Pack
Clues are typed, which keeps the call from turning into everyone talking at once.
- Picnic Panic1-8 · Phone or TV
A race where everyone digs on their own phone and the shared screen shows who's ahead.
How to run it on a call
- The host opens the game's TV page on a computer, for example eatnow.lol/bluff-buffet/tv.
- Share that browser window on the call.
- Everyone opens eatnow.lol/play on their phone and types the four-letter code from the shared screen.
- The host taps Start on the shared screen.
If someone doesn't have a phone handy
They can join from a second browser tab on their computer at eatnow.lol/play, next to the call window.
Questions
- Can you play these games on Zoom?
- Yes. Share the game screen and everyone joins on their phone with the room code.
- Does everyone need a Zoom account?
- Only for the call itself. The games need no account.
- Is there a lag?
- Phones talk to the game directly, not through the call, so answers arrive right away. Only the shared screen has the usual video delay.
