Multiplayer Minesweeper

Picnic Panic is Minesweeper as a race. Everyone gets the same picnic blanket on their own phone, with ant hills instead of mines. Dig into one and you're frozen for five seconds while your friends keep going. The TV shows how far along everyone is.

  1. Picnic Panic1-8 · Phone or TV

2 to 8 players race on the same board, or play the daily board alone for free.

How it differs from classic Minesweeper

The board starts with a patch already open, so everyone gets the same fair start. Numbers work the same way: each one tells you how many ant hills touch that square.

Instead of losing when you hit one, you lose five seconds. Three rounds of up to three minutes, scored 3, 2 and 1 for the top three.

How to set it up

  1. Open the game on a laptop, smart TV browser or a tablet everyone can see. A laptop plugged into the TV works best.
  2. The screen shows a four-letter room code and a QR code.
  3. Everyone opens eatnow.lol/play on their phone and types the code with their name.
  4. The first person to open the room is the host and taps Start.
