We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can delete it any time.

What we collect

• Your account, if you sign in. Your email, a cookie that keeps you signed in on that device, and whether you own the Launch Pack. You only need an account to host Launch Pack games or to save your games.
• Names you type into a game. These only exist while the room is open, and a room is cleared 4 hours after anyone last used it.
• Your game history, only if you sign in to save it. See "Saving your games" below.
• Problem reports, only if you send one. What you pick and write, your email if you add it, and what we need to find the problem: the page, room code and game, the game as your screen saw it, your device and browser type, screen size, and the last few errors on the page.
• Basic technical data every website receives, like your IP address and browser type. Our hosting provider uses it to run the site and protect it from abuse.

There are no ads and no advertising trackers. We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.

Saving your games

You never need an account to play. If you sign in on your phone, we save a short record each time a game you're in finishes, so your game nights add up on your account page. Each record has which game it was, the room code, when it ended and on what day for you, the name you played under, your score and place, whether you won, how many people played, whether you hosted, and the names the other players typed in, so we can show who you play with most.

We don't save what anyone typed during the game. Other players' names are never linked to their accounts in your history, and only you can see it. Delete it any time from your account page with Delete my history.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare hosts the site, stores accounts and saved games, and sends our emails (sign-in codes).
• Stripe handles payment when a host buys the Launch Pack. You type your card details on Stripe's page; we never see or store your card number.
• Google Fonts delivers the fonts, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.

We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

How long we keep it

Game rooms and the names in them are cleared 4 hours after a room was last used. Your account and saved games stay until you delete them. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires, without your email once you delete your account.

Your choices

Signed in, you can delete your saved games or your whole account from your account page, and it happens right away. For anything else, send us a note with Report a problem at the bottom of any game page and add your email.
